The digital side of your business

I help businesses make better use of the internet. It typically starts with the website, and expands from there. Here is everything that falls under that.

How you look and how you hold up

FAQ

Questions Worth Asking

How do services and pricing fit together?

Services are the work: websites, search, analytics, AI systems, and so on. Pricing is how you buy it. As a one-time project, as part of a monthly engagement, or by the hour when you need it. Most people start by describing a problem, and I tell them which makes sense.

Can I hire you for just one thing?

Yes. Every service is available on its own as a project. When several of them belong together and need ongoing attention, that is what the engagements are for.

Do I need everything on this page?

Almost certainly not. Most businesses are missing one or two things, not nine. I would rather tell you which two.

Why not just have AI build my website?

You can, and it will be fast. The tradeoff is that a tool does not know your business, so AI-built sites tend to look and sound like each other. And every website needs looking after, however it was made. Sometimes it is a button that will not click because something is layered on top of it, a form whose emails never arrive, or a page that slips out of Google. I use AI every day and build AI systems for clients. What you are paying for is judgment, and a professional on your side when something needs fixing.

Will you work with my existing developer or agency?

Often, yes. I am used to working next to an in-house team or another provider. If something is better rebuilt than patched I will say so plainly, but I do not insist on replacing what already works.

Do you do social media or video?

Not right now. My work is the website, search visibility, and the systems behind them. If you need social or video I am happy to work alongside whoever handles it.

Not sure what you need?

Most work starts as a conversation about the problem, not a menu. Tell me where the friction is and I will tell you plainly what it will take. The first conversation is free.
